In Early 2013, a group of driven Dermatologists initiated their search for comprehensive an Electronic Health Records System (EHR). With mutiple practices stretching from coast to coast, they required an all inclusive , accurate and easy to use EHR to access all his practices from wherever he was. After numerous disappointing results, from other EHR's, they decided to developed their own EHR specifically for their Dermatology needs.
This system, now known as Sawgio EHR was initially used in a few offices, after successful testing of the system we incorporated the system in many other practices. Sawgio EHR is now used in many other dermatology practices, has been shaped by its users on a improvement basis during the trial period. Experienced people from real practices, billing staff, office managers, medical staff, and other fellow dermatologists sent suggestions to the Sapien development team in order to make a system smooth and efficient for dermatology specific practices. The submission of these new ideas resulted in the enhanced product you see today; a product designed for Dermatologists, by Dermatologists.
